"Remember" is an abstract painting borne from a personal experience traveling Europe last summer, visiting cities and villages along the Danube and Rhine rivers. Inlaid among medieval cobblestones and modern sidewalks are brass "stolpersteine", literally stumbling blocks, to honor and remember holocaust victims whose last known address of choice was in that spot. Look at the close up to see etched in one of the stolpersteine is the word "Remember" and another has an outline of a house.
