From Jewish cultural memory to contemporary life, my paintings use layered surfaces, language and recurring symbols to tell stories that connect the past with the present.

 I use painting to turn Jewish language, history and cultural memory into visual stories about things that still matter to us now. I take words, history and cultural memory and embed them into layered abstract paintings so that the viewer discovers a story inside the surface.

My paintings function as short stories—visual historical fiction—that bring history to life through narrative, emotion, and symbolism.
